My first post to say that I am delighted with my EX.
This thread however, stikes a cautionary note with me since
VSA is a safety feature which influenced my choice of this car. To hear that a faulty
VSA system can cause a car to swerve is alarming, since you do not know it is faulty until it happens. It sounds like the self-test is not foolproof and the system is not dynamically tested, possibly it is not working at all, a cautious may never know.
My expectation would be that it should not be possible for
VSA to do anything other than make the car go in the direction in which it is being steered, from the description of this problem this may not be the case.
