I don't know if this point has been made but even if you buy the car new, yoiu must mention any optional extras, ANY. I mentioned everything on mine and the insurance stayed the same but even things like the interior lights, metal pedals etc. still affect the car, as it is more appetizing to thieves etc etc. so the tinyest change to a nut, is enough to affect your insurance. Believe me I know, the hard way

Nicley done though, even though I'm not a fan of modified cars, but your is subtle enough not to look boy-racerish.
BTW, on the plate bit, I informed my company of mine, and told them the plate was being held by my father on the car, although my plate was my second name only. They seemed fine as long as I told them.
