You may not be a fan of Ford styling, but have you owned one of the newer ones? If you had, you would know that quality wise the Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo are not that far behind Honda (and in many repects, better than the current Civic!) .The Focus is generally accepted as best in class for ride and handling, even the current dated Fiesta handles better than some of it's newer rivals.
For years I mocked Ford and probably derservedly, they really lost their way during the 90's. When they introduced the Focus, that's when they started to raise their game dramatically! |
Just to follow up on this - Ford are doing very well! The range they have at the moment is excellent, and with their new range of petrol engines this year they are just going to get better!
My mum has a Y reg Focus with 60,000 miles on the clock - and it is still a joy to drive!
