I didn't pay £100 quid for the space saver option. I liked the look of the extra boot space plus I thought about the extra weight of the spare wheel and tyre.
I did read the instructions about how to use the kit supplied in case I ever needed it and sounded like grief.
When I was in Halfords, I spotted that they were selling off their tyre fixing kits that are a can of compressed something that fixes and inflates the tyre in one go so I bought a pack of 2 for about £7.99 (can't remember exactly) and I've ditched the Honda kit for these cans. Seems a lot easier and you don't have to carry the compressor around.
Obviously these are going to suffer with the same issue that they might not be fixable afterwards.
Lets hope I never need to use them!
