I could go to Northampton if still required... Let me know if this hasn't already been done.

I must say, I'm in 2 minds if a panel filter will make much difference to the economy or performance of the vehicle. Diesels already run with a surplus of air (they burn very lean), so extra air probably isn't required. Also, are you guys aware that the oil from the filter can "migrate", following the flow of air, and collect on the air mass meter (or MAF). Ths can cause a miss reading with air flow into the engine, forcing the car into "limp mode". I'm not trying to be alarmist, just recalling experiece from previous cars on other forums!

If anyone has any experience of using panel filters on Turbo Diesel cars, good or bad, chip in!
