However, I absolutely love everything else about my car - how it looks in & out, how it drives, the features it has - and wouldn't change it for anything in the same class at the moment. I'm hoping my dealer (who were brilliant when I went through the process of buying the car), will be able to rectify these issues and I can get on with enjoying this machine.
I felt the same when my car was two months old, but after almost two years of constant problems enough is enough, I test drove a Focus last weekend (yes I know in the looks department it is way off the civic and yes I now lots of you will shout Boring etc etc etc) but it drove like a dream, perfect smooth gear change, no where near as firm or noisey as my civic (and it had lowered suspension and 17inch alloys) and it had much less road noise.

The civic drives well and looks amazing but when it feels like your second car is a Honda Jazz and your own car comes back and develops the same or yet another problem a day or two later you do start to think is it worth the hassle just for the looks!
