with regards to panel filters, when i was on the roadsters club we had several options for induction, a variety of cone filters, or replacing the current panel filter with a TRD one.

these were all tested on various occasions and even did before and after dyno tests.

the panel filter change showed about 2-3 bhp gain on the mr2.

the cone filters did nothing for BHP but then on a mid engine car it was sucking in the hot air straight from the engine.

all the induction kits saw an improvement in mpg

with the diesel box it should see a small gain.
