Toyota Yaris 1.2 2 months

Audi A3 1.6 2 years -

Was a brand new shape 2005 model -2 new clutches,new gearbox,powersteering failed whilst driving!,both front and rear windscreen wipers failed twice each (4 occasions).

Bmw 320d 1 year -

One of my dads company cars. Had no problems - although for a 24k vehical the handeling is poor,chassis feels like it flexes and twists over bumps although this maybe due to the bmw run flats.

Volvo C30 2.0d 1 year -

Excellent car to drive & own, with lots of torque (207 ft lb).The boot & boot lid is terrible. It only has 4 seats. Amazing on the motorway & over long distance (38mpg when driving with some go) done 16000 miles now. The ride is very similar to the type R (c30 uses 18'' atreus wheels).

Honda Civic Type R GT 1 week.

Gorgeous engine, great handeling,huge boot miles bigger than A3,sat nav is excellent,gearbox is very smooth,great on motorways & fast roads.
The ride is the firmest out of the cars ive driven and it delievers.
My only negatives are that there are far too many buttons in the ''cockpit'' as it seems to have become, oh and mpg is crap on short journeys around town (16mpg at the moment over 25 miles). Tho ive seen 35 on long motorway journeys.
