Are you guys planning to send your car keys along with your home address to a total stranger?
Don`t take this post the wrong way i am not trying to cause an argument, I am just curious how this is going to work, I have not signed up for the folding key yet , but i might still change my mind.

If you open your key case up you will find another plastic casing in there holding the circuit and battery with the buttons attached to the outside of that case. Moving it over into the new key will be straight forward, almost a zero chance of damaging the circuit as you wont even see it unless you take the inner casing apart. Take your key apart and you will see, only takes 10 seconds. No need to send it to any strangers

.
Feel free to ask any questions that come up, dont feel bad about starting discussions/arguments. You may raise a valid point that none of us has thought of

Thanks for the feedback, saves others wasting money. As for quality of the awaited keys, we shall have to wait and see. Here are some remotes they manufacture for their alarm systems, although they are not flip keys they do look good in the pics and the workmanship does look better than the key off ebay. However you can only tell so much from pictures.

Understood thanks. I can edit some posts so there must be a time limit on editting posts. Might sign up properly at some point.
