Also they give good practical advice on what and what not to do. The strip is very long so take your comfortable OAP type shoes! There is a monorail that runs up and down it and its seven dollars for a day pass, but remember the city never sleeps!

Have been before and found that the Treasure Island is probably one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in!
You only seem to get any grief there if you want to enter the hotel when they are doing their Pirate Show, then the entrance gets a bit confined.
The monorails seem to just whisk you between a few of the hotels, not T.I. though! OK for fun trips but not really that practical.
The Duece bus, a double decker, runs 24/7 and you can get a 24hr pass for just $5, so that's probably the best bet.
The taxis can work out to be expensive as the strip and surrounding roads are busy and the time on the meter soon whips round!
......as for the city that never sleeps, no problems for C.H. there!
