can't quite work that one out actually
If you're going so slowly that a cyclist can hit you from behind when you turn left, then they are unlikely to die (although, granted they might not be tooo chuffed!)
But wing mirror checking should sort that, and rear mirror / view probably wouldn't have helped anyway.
If you're going that much quicker, then surely you have just overtaken them, and are possibly going a bit too quick for the corner anyway?
sorry - obviously my lack of comprehension here - but I just can't see how better rear view would help in this situation
