When I had problems with my civic I was told to contact Honda UK myself by the dealer as they said it was out of their hands

I think the dealer I was using would have been happy to go on replacing parts on my car indefinately until I said enough is enough. When we buy any product we do accept it at the time of sale but we accept it as being perfect, if the product is not perfect then we are within out rights to have it fixed/replaced and fixed within a reasonable time period, if they can not fix it then a customer is within their rights to reject it.

A known fault MUST be pointed at time of sale, in this instance Honda have admitted that there is a known fault which clearly is being kept back from us customers at time of sale.
