I took my 2008 EX back to Honda Enfield today and the sales executive immediately exchanged my 2006 Sat Nav disk for the 2008 two DVD set. (I just hope they remember to put a replacement set back in the new orange Civic that had just arrived in the showroom!)

While waiting I checked out the ashtray build dates of the Civics on display. The new orange ES had an 08 VIN and was built in November 2007. They had a new EX on show which had a 2007 VIN. This had a build date of February 07.

It seems important to check your VIN if buying new. However cars are arriving at the dealers many months after being made.
