I have done 30,000 miles in my 2.2 litre diesel and have always used Shell Diesel extra, also kept my tyre pressure the same. I have managed to get 500 miles out of the fuel tank. recently i bought some Redex Diesel treatment which you put in after you have filled the tank up. This should give more mpg tooo.
