if u drive like a granny its quite possable , i went on a 300 mile trip last weekend driving to the limits so not doing 40 lol maybe carefully getting upto speed i hit 60+mpg 3 or 4 times when i got to there i was doing 57 mpg with 3 adluts and a child , lots of bags in the back ac on auto etc i think was very good better THEN THE CRAP VW BLUE MOUTION doing 47,5 mpg over about the same trip. try harder vw lol (not quite the 72 mpg they say.!!!!) . coming back i had 5 alduts lots of bags more town driving 10-15 milles, and driving more like a gti not cdti
and finished a 300 mile weekend out on 53.5 on the car 52.6 on the calc. so if i had driven on my own and like a cicvic blue moution all the trip and on v power fuel not cheap sainsbuys stuff
i think 60 mpg would have possible.
