thanks for the responses guys, I think you are right, I will make a few enquiries in the morning, the dealers have promised me a free service this week for the next time for the last lot of inconvenience, they'll freak when I tell them this! lol ! I'm beyond caring with it now to be honest, owning a honda for the past nine months has been a complete catalogue of disasters non of them of my making.

I've attached an image of the surface damage, however I've had to cut away a lot of the plastic wheel arch as it was rubbing on the tyre, the metal support for the arch has clearly bent aswell! this car is a complete joke.

I'm not actually too sure whether or not I pressed the button, stressful day at work and all that, I know one thing is for sure, I didnt leave it off! my driving instuctor all those years ago always told me to always press the button, so getting out the habit for the sake of Honda is virtually impossible when your mind is on other things

Anyways, I'll let you know what happens
