I had a Honda CB250 motorbike back in the seventies/eighties, with a disc front brake. The disc on that didn't rust because, I believe, there was a high content of chromium in the steel.
Always looked great, but was *useless* as a brake!!!

I'll stick to the rusty ones, thank you!
