I looked at the Auris, opened the door got in, looked (counted to 3), got out and never looked back (binned the brochure without even reading it). I honestly hated it without even looking at the engine, must admit it could have been faster than McC' F1 and I still wouldn't have test driven it.
It felt cheap, nasty, and badly made (much in the same way as SSSSSSanyong looks like someone desgined it over the phone, Clarkson was right on that one), the centre console is awful, the seats felt like they weren't made properly and the interior was for the driver terribly laid out. Really not one that was going to win me over anytime soon.
