Seriously though.
Don't worry about getting the bhp up to start with. The cheapest way to get your VTI to go faster is by upgrading the brakes. Yes I know that sounds stooopid!
Trust me. If all you want is 0-60 strip times then go forced induction.
If you want a VTI which will be rapid around a track then get them brakes sorted. If you can brake later into the corner then you get round quicker.
If all you do is put a set of braided Goodridge hoses on then that's a start.
My brother has a VTI. Brakes was the first thing to be changed. Since then he has gone down the induction kit and exhaust. Sounds great but no real improvement on bhp.
He has also put the strut braces on and this has tightened up the rigidity and that again helps the brakes.
