I think this was my main reason for not going down the flip key route. No-one seems willing to cut them, or they need a bit of tweaking afterwards to get them working.

But I was poo-poo'd, and told that it wouldn't be a problem by others.

I admire your perseverence if you have a flip key, but to me it seems like a lot of hassle for very little reward.
