On the other hand, the quality wines were treated with great care in the preparation and selection of the best grapes to ensure customer satisfaction and that the product lived up to the label.
If only Honda had taken care that the 'NEW' Civic lived up to the quality label we usually expect. You know the difference having worked on both brands. The Jetta has a solid dependable feel to it compared to the Civic, but obviously you loyalty has to switch when you move camp.To be honest, both cars feel equally as solid and safe and in my honest opinion, with the Civic more fun to drive, more responsive, less 'wallowy'
My Son drives an Impreza which does exactly what it says on the tin, but the interior looks and is pretty spartan, but is unpretentious.. The Civic uses smoke and mirrors to make it look quality No smoke with mine and the only mirrors are for seeing backwards with, but it is only skin deep.As opposed to the Jetta that has no faults??
What idiot made it necessary to first remove the REAR centre cowling, remove the FRONT cowling, etc, etc to get at the radio to have a hands free phone kit fitted. Easier question, What idiot spends money these days on having a handsfree phone fitted to their car?? they are out of date by the time the last screws go in and invariably need updating as soon as a new phone arrives (bearing in mind these days most people change their phones every 12-18 months). The phone fitter says it's the worst design he has ever worked on.
Agree? probably you won't! you are correct, its not that I wont, more like i cant.

Eddie the Jett.
I take it that you are either unaware of the legacy of faults and problems with the Jetta or are you just conveniently forgetting them?? As a small tip, when you next get your Jetta serviced, make sure that they clear and replace the pollen/air filter - you wouldnt want puddles of water appearing in your footwells now would you???
