I"m glad however that I'm aware there could be a problem. I take care to put it in gear together with the handbrake when I'm parked before my house. Last week, one of my neighbors experienced a handbrake failure on his car. I heard passing cars honk their horn. When I looked out the window I saw his car in the middle of the street blocking all traffic. Luckily for him, he heard the horn also. My street isn't very well lit at night so one could easily have smashed into his car. Since then, I always put mine in first gear, just to be safe...
Hello ,what year is your car ? I'm from Belgium to ,and i did received a recall letter from Honda and my dealer also did now about it ,normally the replacement of the hand-brake will be for the late of March or April .
