I have both cars (Accord and Civic) and i can say that the Accord is a better built car (sorry fox , but that's the true) . The Civic wins only in design and those Magic seats / cargo space ... but the rest , Accord is superior (better steering feedback ( hydraulic steering ), superior suspension ( front/rear independent double wishbone ) , much much better noise filtration , no rattles , and so on ... it just feels like a more solid, better build car ... just drive both and see what I mean.
For city drivings, the civic does handle better , but outside of the city the Accord is just better .
