Apparently, it's going to take about 6 weeks for the tooling to be completed and for the prototype to be fitted to my car. If all is ok, shipping dates of early May seem to be quite reasonable to me!

Where is the R&D? You may as well put a piece of foam in there for all the testing they are going to do. 20 minutes and a another 10 to see if it fits, If it fits????, thats encouraging when it's the only barrier between your engine and the all those particles floating aboout in the air.
For the tiny improvement (which they can't prove)and considering the possible damage to the
MAF and God only knows what else, this doesn't make sense
