been too busy to reply sooner but as an update my wife had to pay for replacements. i had problems with my brakes a week later and took mine to another branch (same franchise) and they replaced mine under warranty as they were badly worn on 1 side and hardly worn on the other and part of the pad had actually snapped off completely. if i'd have taken it to the same place my wife went i think i would had been fobbed of and asked to pay myself.... i will now travel further to go to this branch as they seem to care about the customer.
