Took my into ABP this morning for them to have a look on the ramps to see if the exhaust system on the type S are the same as on their type R but unfortunaly they are not.
The rear box is the same but the connections to the mid pipe are in a completeley different place and also the CATs are in a totaly different places, so the verdict is that the Milltek exhaust system will NOT fit the 1.8 type S.

Sorry to here that mate.
There surely must be some other company doing an exhaust system similar? or are ABP going to make one, now that they've measured yours.
How much would it be if it had fitted??
