Think again, open roads are rarely empty, prats come the other way, especially young berks (usually in GTI's)...... in fast cars, thinking the road aheads clear

(there is always one, especially if your driving slow and a GTI hurtles round a bend towards you). Never drive faster than the distance you can see ahead, i.e. don't floor it if you've only got 60 feet till a corner, 60 mph on NSL roads with 100-150 yards infront should be ok, depending upon prevaling conditions. Then there is farm machinery, mate of mines mum died when she hit a tractor rushing to pick him up from school. Then there is pheasants adn other aminalia, they come out of nowhere.
