Beat me to it. then there's the part ex issue. The car (especially a type R) has been registered abroad and then the UK, who is to know (from the next owners point of view) how many owners, how many miles (or km's) it has done, if the speedo has been changed etc etc, the car potentially has a hidden history. I'm not saying this is the case with the company you are thinking about but its how it will be looked at when you come to sell it. There really will be a fair difference in the price at the end....
