The guy in the workshop said that:

A). If it was rectified it would be a grind-out, respray the spot job, not anything further!!!

B). Apparently his 08 car has them already!!!! (I would be even less happy with that!).

IMO it is utter B******s that it is just a 'feature', and surely the shell should flex a little, but not the doors??????????????

One thing is for certain, (HONDA IF YOU ARE READING THIS) I will not be happy if the outcome is a "Repair" or a 'tough luck' note. It will be sorted!

Also I was told I would get no new assurances from Honda about rust for the future (I like to get a note saying that the fix has been done by Honda, so if anything is said when I sell the car, I can show them some documentation that says, it was done by XXXX on XXXXX date) and once 'fixed', it would not be repaired again any more, it is a one time only gig on repairs!!!!!! And this from a bodyshop manager/section manager!
