Also I was told I would get no new assurances from Honda about rust for the future (I like to get a note saying that the fix has been done by Honda, so if anything is said when I sell the car, I can show them some documentation that says, it was done by XXXX on XXXXX date) and once 'fixed', it would not be repaired again any more, it is a one time only gig on repairs!!!!!! And this from a bodyshop manager/section manager!


Thats just ridiculous!!! In the past I was fortunate enough to own a Porsche 968 which a Range Rover driver decided to use to stop with rather than his brakes. 7k worth of damage later but (the relevant bit to this thread), having had it repaired at an approved body shop, providing it was inspected yearly by the same shop, there was a 10 year warrenty on the repair!!!! Whats the point of having it repaired in the first place if there is no warrenty with it, you may as well just not bother!
