I've only just discovered this excellent website and as a new civic owner its been very helpful. When I collected my new Type S CDTi recently I asked the local Honda dealer if he could supply the double din facia (part number acquired from this very site!). He didn't know anything about it but looked it up on the system. Price £75 +vat.
BUT HERES THE CONFUSSING BIT..... he quoted me for fitting (1 hour) the facia (not the head unit), what I don't understand is if he fitted it would the clock etc. still work (how would he get around the clock setting issue ?) - Does anyone know what the work instructions that Honda set down for this (to get to the one hour)?
