I know, it's a lot to justify, but well worth it when you get it set up.
My favorite thing to do with this game now is to get a descent car, preferably a
RWD sports car with a lot of power, turn the steering setting from 'amatuer' or 'professional' to 'simulation', change the driving physics from 'standard' to 'professional' and turn off all driving aids such as ASM (
VSA for us Civic owners) and TC.
Go to a very technical course like Suzuka and post a good time, the feeling of accomplishment is amazing. Get your braking point slightly wrong, turn to aggresivley or shift the wieght around too quicky, and you are just a passenger!
I am also loving the London circuit. Blasting at 150mph along Shaftsbury Avenue, a sharp right onto Charing Cross Road, down round Trafalgar Square, up Cockspur and onto Haymarket, then a sharp left/right to get onto Regent Street. Past Picardilly Circus and Back onto Shaftsbury Ave. Fantastic. Every single shop and road marking reproduced amazingly. I only just noticed that there are 'repairs' of new tarmac where all the traffic islands should be.
Why the hell am I typing all this, I could be driving my DB9 now!
