now accel hard in 3 4 5 6th gears it does the same.
sounds like a clutch.
took it to Arnold Clark in Altrincham, who initially said it was due to the floor mat catching under the pedals, until a service manager took the car out and agreed it was probably the clutch.
Car now has 43k on the clock.
Called by Arnold Clark today to say they will have the car in for 'at least a week' because honda are contesting the clutch issue and want them to take pictures to send to them, and currently are not stating its a warranty issue.
i would be grateful for anyones advice or knowledge on whether this is a bacth of faulty clutches and whether it is a warranty issue. I would like to be well prepared for when the results of the findings are known.
thanks

Could all these faults be the start of the rot for Honda’s reputation of envious reliability? Toyota, VAG and Mercedes suffered similar troubles over the last few years which has tarnished the companies irrevocably.
Lets hope Honda see sense and respect their loyal customers by not slithering out of any warranty or good will repairs.
