The main problem with my 08 model is that it is to quiet! From day 1 the rear parking sensors made no sound when reversing. Today I found that the alarm also is silent - all I get is a ticking noise as all four indicators flash. (The Sat Nav and phone speak OK though.)

Has anyone else had this problem?
Is it possible both alarms share the same speaker which is not working?

My dealer is unable to get hold of a new speaker for the parking sensors and I have escalated to Honda car customer relations. Is it possible a whole batch of new Civics are out there all trying to get a working speaker - hence the unavailability.

It seems all spares come from Belgium which seems strange if the cars are made in Swindon.
