1) When I turn the engine on, the exhaust seems to rattle quite loudly. Then after a while it stops
Mine did that - now resolved after 18 months and several dealer visits. New parts for exhaust were eventually and VERY reluctantly allowed by Honda on dealers (repeated) recommendation.

2) I went to take my tom tom charger out and the whole cigerette lighter socket came out with it... now appears to be loose and not providing power 100% of the time.
Don't worry - thats normal

3) Condensation in the rear lights (doesnt bother me, but dont want mould)
Also normal

4) I washed my car today... opened the boot and was greated by a wall of water falling directly INTO the boot... is this a fault?
Also when its been raining - normal

5) I'm not sure if its normal, but I keep noticing a sound from the back. Sounds like the windscreen is creaking (but I'm not overly sure).
I have a load of noises, though that is not one I recognise

A big welcome to the world of the new Civic!

The old Civic was never like this!
