An excellent meet-up happened in odd April weather. Snow on the hills, intermittent rain and finally, wonderful sunshine.
All who had signed up attended and the cars looked great again in the car park.
ST scraped a kerb while parking, no visible damage. Sushi had to go one better and announced his arrival in style. Things do jump out at sushi, usually quite solid things.
Various 'test drives' were accomplished and everyone confirmed to their great satisfaction that their own car was, in fact, better than anyone else's. And they were all quite right too.
There was a lot of comparing rattles, bumps and paintwork and also sympathy for the couple of bump damages to sushi's and copland's cars.
I drove a diesel for the first time and it was clear to me that the petrol and diesel versions are totally different cars requiring totally different styles of driving. They really are poles apart in the way they drive. Loads of torque all the way through on the diesel but you have to work quickly through the gears. A very interesting experience, thank you.
A good meal, great company and a lovely interlude for the weekend. Thanks to all attendees and roll on the next meet. We are blessed with an excellent membership in this area so long may our meet-ups continue.
I DID take my camera but left the memory card in the card reader at home

so await sushi's photographic extravaganza with excitement. So, sorry, no pics from me today.
All in all a most successful meet-up and one I am sure we will all look forward to repeating, so if anyone else would like to join in, keep an eye on the calendar !!
