To be honest I've found that the more powerful or expensive the car is that I'm driving, the more respect I have for it. I certainly take alot more care with my Civic than I have with any previous cars. I've spent soo much money on it and time looking after it that I sure as hell don't want to do any damage to it.
Plus when your car looks as good as a Civic why drive dangerously fast? Surley you want everyone to see how well it looks, and the faster you go the more stone chips you get and the more cleaning you have to do.
My theory is that the idiots in the tarted up clios, corsas etc. drive so fast all the time so that no one can see how bad their cars actually look! Some of them really are cringe worthy!
