Sounds like you have quite a 'clingy' bit of spy/mal ware going on, not sure if it's been mentioned but you could try Windows 'Defender' - download from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx tends to get rid of the muck on my laptop and the database is well supported as it's windows... updates automatically etc...
