I have said all along that 'experience' isn't always to do with age as in NEEMSTARS case where there is a large chance that his drive to Uni is more than many people do in a week. I live in a country where I have to be for ever vigilant of other drivers and that has increased my experience.
I agree with your point HFB, and as you say we all have 'moments of madness' whilst driving and near misses.
The question I asked, though was: Are restrictions on young people in the first couple of years of driving a death prevention attempt or a move against young drivers?
and an additional question would be: If as young drivers we all had a longer practice time covering more road situations, would we be better drivers today?
