Indeed.....and the fact that they seem to not believe you when you tell them excatly how it happened is another issue. Like TT said if I had been doing what they were making out (which I wasn't) then there would have maybe been a bit of evidence.
I still fail to see how a
CTR which we all know isn't the most fuel efficent car in the world can get 360 miles from a tank and they still say I was doing in excess of the Speed limit. Especailly when the fault had occured after I had been in the week before and hadn't even put a 100 miles on the clock since then! And they would see that cause they checked the reading on the dash
