Hi Everyone, this is my first post here.

I currently have an EP3, which I have enjoyed greatly over the last 2.5 years (with no problems whatsoever I might add).

After test driving an FN2 CTR and thoroughly enjoying it I bought one and it should arrive next week.

Having read this thread I'm now slightly concerned. So my question is should I check my car when I take ownership of it next week and take preventative measures to limit the likelihood of this occuring? If yes, is the best approach to get some kind of wax oil, as mentioned earlier in the thread, and coat the potential problem areas? If so what type of oil is best?
