Many thanks for the supporting words, i will miss the friendliest forum on the Web.

Funny thing about the depreciation angle. One of the minor reasons i bought the Honda was low depreciation.

Disappointingly the offers varied considerably as apparently the trade was "awash" with Civics at the moment. Worst offer i had was £7800

The car by the way was an 06 1.8 Sport

I know the Alfa will depreciate but the way i look at that is that all car's lose money and anyway i am driving it today not in 3 years
