I am on record from the start saying I think FMEA's article looks kosher. I have owned Honda's for many, many years, perhaps longer than some members were born. I waited almost two years before buying my i-shift ES because of the negative reports that were being published. Hence my forum username. My new Civic came with two bolts missing from the off-side rear exhaust fitting. Simply no excuse. Yes, Honda's quality control has for some reason deteriorated, I am sorry to say. That having been said, I think it is a great design and a lot going for it, (handbrake issue apart).
