Do you also think this would be ok?

Yea this will work fine. I bought the set at Halfords for about £10 and it is working well for me. Let us know what you get with the Honda pen and if they charge you for it.

I opted for the Halfords pens as I chipped my bonnet to the metal and needed a bit of primer on it. Halfords have the primer, colour and clear coat in their set so get some primer and use it when you chip to the metalif Honda does not supply this.

Also the best advice I have is to clean your car really well before starting to get all the oil and grease etc of the chipped area. Then make sure that the chipped area is covered in primer and not all the way to the metal. If you see metal get some primer on it(also a pen).

Then when you start touching it up make sure you have a soft cloth with some water nearby to clean up the paint if you screw up. You need to be quick here though. Dry it off if this happens and be certain it is 100% dry.

I also found that covering the tip of a coctail stick (tooth pick) in the paint and using this to apply worked best for me. With some time and a few attempts it covers well and after a wash a few days later you can't see it at all. Just use the paint sparingly and coat it up in layers.

I hope this helps
