The Falkens seem to be the value choice as they offer decent performance for the money. Have you tried Event tyres, they've always been the cheapest for me:

I wouldn't buy generic budget tyres. Stick to the Y speed rating too. Frankly fitting budget tyres to a
CTR is a false economy, they'll wear faster and you'll cripple the performance of the car. Plus there's the safety aspect - if your can can go fast, you also want it to stop fast.
How about getting pre-worns, either through a dealer or through ebay?
