I bought cheap tyres for a previous car as I was in the process of selling it and didnt want to waste cash on the recommended Michelin. I bought 4 for £200 fitted (whereas Michelins were £135 each). I think they were Barums
The cheap tyres absolutly ruined the handling and performance of the car. I ended up keeping the car for a few thousand miles more than I thought and they wore very quickly. They were 1.6mm after 10,000 miles, so I ended up buying another set after all!
At the end of the day the choice is yours, but I wouldnt buy cheap tyres again. When I replace the tyres on my FN2, I will replace them with Honda recommended tyres.
