Have the car back and results are:
- Door speaker is on order
- steering wheel/column has been lubricated.Feels pretty much the same.Think I'll let this one lie as it appears intermittently and not what you would consider grossly annoying(wait to see if it should get worse)
- Examination of the (front/middle section?) of the car failed to find anything loose or wrong.Also mechanic could'nt replicate the noise on their test drive.Popped down and took the mechanic out and was able to demonstrate the knocking.Fair play to the mechanic,it took me a few goes.He acknoledged the knocking was there and the car goes back next week.Dissapointed but have to say half expected it may not be staightforward
