Well done that Frank Field.
Sorry JTL I don't agree. This government, which I don't support, is weak and pathetic. Today Gordon Brown stood in PMQ's and said that Labour was the party of the poor, HOW?

My view is such. This present government claims to be the party of the people but doesn't listen. It claims to have the poor in mind, but removed the 10% tax threshold.. It controls from central government - removing local knowledge and expertise.

what did Frank Field achieve - NOTHING. There were NO firm policy decisions and everything is to 'be thought through'. In other words meaning nothing will be done. The poor will be neglected once again.

Why not reduce the tax on petrol until a new reliable, realistic form of fuel can be introduced?
