Now you are taught to make sure that the car is out of gear before you start it and I always do this. Seems that people quickly forget what they are taught and you can't tell me that your instructor never told you to make sure the car was not in gear, start the engine, put the clutch in, select first, mirror, signal, check over your shoulder to your blind spot before you move off, if save to do so move off.
