I'v got a 1200 bandit bike and when flat tyre, i have a repair kit which does the job real good
I would'nt go for a spare tyre and use that extra space in boot for extra carrying capacity ! The repair kit in the civic's are real good quality and can run for thousands of miles, now all depends if the puncture is clean or not.
